Counseling Approach

My approach to counseling centers on being trauma-informed and the acknowledgment of each individual’s unique experiences. I emphasize the importance of treating the person as a whole, rather than focusing solely on specific issues. Integrating various evidence-based practices, I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to tailor the therapeutic experience to your needs.

In our first session, we'll explore what brings you to therapy and choose the best approach. With CBT, we'll address how thoughts impact emotions, while DBT helps with emotional regulation, and somatic therapy reconnects you with your body for deeper healing.
